Our parent company, WestaffSM USA, was founded in 1948 in San Francisco by W. Robert Stover and is headquartered in Walnut Creek, California. Westaff of Hawaii, Inc. is a locally owned & operated “Full Service” staffing firm with the resources of a Global Company. Our Honolulu office has over 24 years of experience providing quality employee talent to the State of Hawaii.

Meet the Owners

Cathy and John Grossu made the commitment to Hawaii over four years ago by acquiring the Westaff franchise. Collectively they have over 50 years of staffing industry experience, both nationally and internationally. John, a graduate of the University of Southern California, also has a financial industry background. Their daughter, Cristina, attends Mid Pacific Institute in Honolulu.

Tricia started with Westaff in 2001. A native of Hawaii and a graduate of Maryknoll High School and Linfield College, she brings with her many years in the human resources field.

Account Manager

Cecilia joined Westaff over three years ago. A native of San Francisco, she has lived in Hawaii for over ten years. Cecilia has extensive background in the employment and travel industries
